Idaho makes it to Humanitarian Bowl
The University of Idaho Vandals football team had an amazing season this year and we in Coeur d'Alene applaud them for that! Robb Akey led the Vandals to their first winning record since 1999 and are bowl eligible for the first time since 1998.
It was officially announced today that the team will compete in the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl in Boise, Idaho vs Bowling Green State University on December 30 at 1:30 PST. "We're delighted to have two highly-respected, well-coached teams represented in the bowl," said Kevin McDonald, executive director, Roady's Humanitarian Bowl. (nmnathletics.com)
