Centennial & Prairie Trail Maintenance

Maintenance on the Centennial and Prairie Trails begins today.

There will be rolling seal coating projects on the Centennial and Prairie Trails over the next couple of weeks. Beginning on the Prairie Trail today, approximately one mile per day will be seal coated with work due to be completed by August 3.

Work on the Centennial Trail will begin on Monday, August 6 starting at Higgens Point. From August 6-10, work will be done from Higgens Point to Riverstone Park and from August 13-August 20, sealing, patching and repair work will be done between I-90 and Highway 41. Between August 27-September 7th, the remainder of the Centennial trail to the state line will be completed.

Trail users are asked to be aware of the project and use the shoulder when traveling around the work area. Where appropriate, bikes should be walked around the repair zone.
