Area Fireworks Displays - Independence Day 2012

Coeur d'Alene - Fireworks over Lake Coeur d'Alene - 10:00p
Visible for miles, this is North Idaho's largest fireworks display. Fireworks are free, but parking in publicly-owned lots is $10. Private lot parking around downtown ranges from $1-$10. Try to have a post-fireworks activity planned, because it can take several hours for traffic to begin moving freely again after the fireworks!

Coeur d'Alene Casino - Fireworks - 10:00p
The Coeur d'Alene Casino show is expected to last around 40 minutes. This is a free show, and a do-not-miss event if you haven't viewed their fireworks before.

Harrision, City Park - 4th of July Fireworks - 2:00p
From 4:00p to 8:00p there will be live music in City Park, followed by a fireworks display over the lake at dusk. There are excellent views of the fireworks available from downtown, the dock area, or on the lake. This fireworks show is expected to last about 20 minutes

Hayden Lake Country Club - Fireworks - Dusk
This is a private show at the club, but will be visible from many vantage points on or near Hayden Lake and the club.

Kellogg - 4th of July Celebration - Noon
Kellogg hosts a Firecracker 5k Fun Run with registration at 7:30a and the race starting at 9:00a, Kellogg Middle School. The fun run is followed by a day-long events calendar packed with music, food, beer garden, games - horseshoes & basketball, swimming, and dance. Pancake Breakfast from 8:30a to 11:30a at the Elks Lodge, parade at noon. There will be a fireworks finale at Silver Mountain at 9:45. This display is visible from many places in the Silver Valley including downtown Kellogg. Free trolley rides are offered from 10:30a to 6:00p, and trolley service resumes at 10:30p after the fireworks. For trolley stops or other information, call 208.512.2173.

Liberty Lake, Pavilion Park - 4th of July Concert and Fireworks - 5:00p
Big Hair Revolution and Men in the Making will be taking the stage. Revolution will perform 70's & 80's music, and Men will have a mixture of classic rock and blues from Buddy Holly, Elvis, Roy Orbison, and Johnny Cash. An entertaining family atmosphere in the park. Fireworks display at 10:00. Parking will be available at the Liberty Lake Elementary School with a shuttle running to Pavilion Park starting at 5:30.

Post Falls - Demolition Derby and Fireworks Extravaganza - 5:00p (July 3)
Post Falls Stateline Stadium & Speedway off Beck Road will be hosting a Demolition Derby and Fireworks Extravaganza starting at 5:00p. The fireworks will start at dusk. $12 adults, $11 students age 12-15, $11 seniors & military, $5 kids age 6-11, $30 family. Advance tickets available at the Post Falls Les Schwab. This event is on July 3, not the 4th.

Priest Lake - Fireworks & Events - 4:00p
All-day ice cream social and celebration at the Coolin Civic Center. View the fireworks at Hills Resort on Luby Bay or Grandview Resort at Reeder Bay to celebrate Independence Day. Fireworks start at dusk!

Priest River - Fireworks Celebration - 10:00p
Fireworks viewable from Bonner Park, downtown over the Pend Oreille River.

Sandpoint - 4th of July Celebration - 10:00a
Parade at 10:00a, followed by stage performances, raffle, beer gardens, vendors, children's activities, and live entertainment throughout the day at city beach, fireworks at 10:00p.

Silverwood Theme Park - Fireworks Extravaganza - Dusk
The Fireworks Extravaganza is meant for themepark attendees, but you can get great views of this spectacular show from almost anywhere in the vicinity of the park. Fireworks and patriotic music at dusk. The park is open 11:00a to 10:00p on July 4.

Spirit Lake, City Park - Old Fashioned 4th of July - 10:00a
The Spirit Lake parade starts at 10:00 with vendors, food, games, and entertainment in Big City Park afterward. The fireworks start at 10:00p, viewable from Volunteer Park.
