The City of Coeur d'Alene is known to locals as CdA or Lake City. Our city was founded in 1878 and has a rich history of mining, logging, and other traditional trades. We've grown from just 150 people in 1880 to 44,137 in 2010.

Coeur d'Alene is currently one of the top tourist destinations in Idaho, with a variety of year-round activities including fishing, boating, hiking, camping, skiing, and more. The city itself is home to over 30 parks, open green spaces, and hiking trails.

Whenever I go somewhere outside of the Coeur d'Alene area, I want to show people where I'm from. I love my home town and I wanted a better way to share that sense of passion with folks who have never heard of Coeur d'Alene.
